The Galaxy S III Premium Suite, video :

The Galaxy S III just keeps getting better doesn’t it.  The latest update that Canadians got brought the device into the Jelly Bean era.  It brought some great features like Google Now and the smoothness of project butter.  And just when you thought things  were great Samsung has offered even more reason to be excited about the already great device.

Today Samsung has released part 1 of a video series that shows off the Premium Suite that will be coming to Galaxy S III’s in the (hopefully) near future.  The first feature was already covered yesterday with the 4.1.2 announcement, that’s the multi-view ability.  Essentially you get to run two apps simultaneously, one app on the top and one on the bottom.  But there’s some other features that will also be coming.

For example, they’re adding a Facebook ticker on the lockscreen to show you what’s happening without opening anything at all. There’s also something called “Contextual Tag” which allows the location, whether, and date to be tagged when taking a photo.  While not super practical it could definitely come in handy if you’re travelling.  Some feature featured in the video have already made their way to the Galaxy S III in the last update but the whole point of the video is to keep you excited about what your device will be able to do.

I’ll post part 2 once that releases.
